WHAT IS YOUR SHOT?

‍For over 15 years, Your Shot has been turning dreams into reality, giving aspiring DJs across Australia & New Zealand the chance to swap their bedrooms for the festival main stage. Since launching in 2010, more than 12,500+ contestants have taken the leap - 62% now hold residencies and perform regular gigs all across the world.Your Shot isn’t just a competition; it’s a launchpad. Unlike anything before it, we give total beginners the chance to break into the DJ world, no experience necessary. With full DJ training provided, all you need is passion and a love for music.

HOW IT WORKS

‍As a Contestant, you will receive 6 weeks of hands-on DJ training at The Academy in your state learning the fundamentals of DJing and craft your first-ever set. You will then perform live for the first time at a sold-out, two-day event in your state, competing for a chance to win life-changing prizes & an international DJ set. At the Your Shot Event Weekend, Contestants hit the decks for their debut performance, showcasing their unique style and sound. With round-the-clock sets, each DJ brings their A-game for a shot at being crowned Your Shot Champion.
